One’s choice is indicated by the house sign at The Two Suns, Nerudova Street 47. Either one turns left and goes in the direction of the Castle, where the Royal Way ends, or one goes up Úvoz in the westerly direction.
The right-hand path is exoteric, full of worldly splendour and ostentatious power; the upward one leads to transformation. If one resists the allures of the tinsel world and goes up Úvoz round the Strahov Monastery and the Star summer-house, one is but a step from the destination. It only takes humility and the ability to listen to one’s heart of hearts.
